Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences

Leverage Your Training
Have you earned a professional license or certification, or acquired college-level technical expertise on the job? If so, it may be worth college credit. The College also offers a variety of other ways to earn credit, including transferring previous college credits, all designed around the needs of adult learners, like you.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHeS) degree program is offered in partnership with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Health-Related Professions. The 121-credit program is designed for those employed in the allied health field and requires students to possess professional certifications and licensures. For most students, core and concentration requirements are completed through UMDNJ courses. Students accepted into this program pay UMDNJ tuition rates and must satisfy UMDNJ residency requirements. Prospective students apply through UMDNJ, observing the application deadline of March 1 for all tracks for the fall semester. Applications may be obtained by contacting UMDNJ at (973) 972-5454 or bshs-shrp@umdnj.edu.

For additional information, please contact the program secretary at (973) 972-8576. Once students are admitted, they are assigned an academic advisor from UMDNJ, who will work with them to plan their academic programs. Students can select one of the following areas of study:

• Allied Dental Sciences
• Imaging Sciences (advanced)
• Dietetic Sciences
• Health Services Management and Education
