The Associate in Science in Applied Science and Technology (ASAST) degree in Laboratory Animal Science is designed for technologists employed in animal research, industrial or veterinary hospital settings. Required courses include Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Laboratory Procedures, Medical and Surgical Procedures, and an animal elective. Corollary requirements are Intermediate and Precalculus Algebra, Chemistry I and II, and Computer Concepts. The degree is a 60-credit program.
