Information Sessions are held throughout the year and provide prospective students with the opportunity to meet College staff and learn more about the admissions process, financial aid, enrolling and what it is like taking an online course.
These business certifications can earn you college credit at Thomas Edison State College:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) #(up to 15 credits) Awarded by the American Payroll Association
Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) # (up to 32 credits) Awarded by the International Association of Administrative Professionals
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)**,*** (up to 6 credits) Awarded by state boards of accountancy
- Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)** (up to 30 credits) Awarded by the Certification Board of The American College
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)** #(up to 32 credits) Awarded by the American Institute of Property and Liability Underwriter
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) # (up to 15 credits) Awarded by The College for Financial Planning
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) # (up to 34 credits) Awarded by The International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) (up to 9 credits) Awarded by The National Association of Purchasing Management Credit recommendation by USNY PONSI program
- Certified Public Manager Program of New Jersey (CPM) #(up to 18 credits) Awarded by the New Jersey Department of Personnel’s Human Resource Development Institute
